New Features - Dashboard


  • Instance Provisioner - New provisioning workflow for Instances.The Instance Provisioner walks you through the following steps to creating a new Instance - selecting an image, specifying hardware settings, configuring networking parameters, confirming launch settings, and launching the new Instance. The Instance Provisioner is accessible in the Dashboard from Clouds > cloudname > Instances > New, or from Manage > Instances & Servers > New Instance. For information on using the Instance Provisioner, see Create New Instance with the Instance Provisioner.
  • AWS New Instance Types - Amazon Web Services c4 Instance Types are now supported in RightScale. For additional details on the new c4 Instance Types see Now Available - New C4 Instances on the AWS website.
  • Microsoft Azure New Instance Types - The new Azure G Series VMs are now supported in RightScale. For additional details on the new G Series VMs see Virtual Machine and Cloud Service Sizes for Azure on the Microsoft MSDN website.
