To create a GitHub account for hosting your cookbook repositories.

If you plan to fork RightScale's cookbook repositories or host you own cookbook repositories on GitHub, you will need to create your own account. GitHub's free account gives you the ability to fork other repositories or create ones of your own. However, if you do not want your cookbook repositories to be publicly available, you will need to sign up for one of their paid editions. You cannot create private repositories with GitHub's free account.

See GitHub for plans and pricing information.

You can Sign-up for a Free GitHub Account in a just few simple steps.

You must to post a comment.
