The Slave-DB instance failed

As long as you still have a Master-DB that's operational, it's relatively easy to recover from a Slave-DB instance failure.   However, if you do not have a Master-DB instance running and your Slave-DB failed, see the There are no running DB instances (master or slave) scenario.

Verification: How do I know my system is in this situation?

  1. Go to your deployment (Manage -> Deployments).
  2. Verify that the Slave-DB is no longer running.
  3. Verify that the Master-DB is operational.

Required actions: What recipes should I apply to solve the situation?

  1. Launch a new Slave-DB
