We have added Linux ServerTemplate and RightImage support for Rackspace, starting with CentOS. This complements our current Dashboard support, which includes monitoring, usage reporting, and provisioning management. To get started, use one of the new Base Linux ServerTemplates listed below. Look for additional ServerTemplates in the second part of this release. If you plan to use this public beta, please contact your sales representative so we may collect your feedback directly.
Since the release of PostgreSQL 9, we have received many requests for a high-availability database manager much like our MySQL solution. We're now happy to announce the availability of our Database Manager for PostgreSQL 9. This solution provides a master/slave database with continuous EBS snapshot backups, DNS management for master to slave fail-over, pre-configured monitoring and alerts, and more. If you plan to use this public alpha, please contact your sales representative so we may collect your feedback directly. For more information, see Create a PostgreSQL Database.
