New Features
-
AWS Reserved Instance utilization view - We have added a new tab into the Analyze page, which will show you all your Reserved Instances, their utilization levels, as well as how much you have saved vs On-Demand. Watch a GIF demo of the new feature: http://cl.ly/image/0R3x0T2K183o. Some things to keep in mind as you use this feature:
- Everything shown on the page is tied to the date range selector at the top of the page. Therefore, it will show RIs which have been active at some point during that date range, the money saved, utilization and waste are also affected by the date range.
- The Cost saved column does not take into account the upfront cost of the Reserved Instance.
- You can filter on most columns using the overview page of the Analyze page. If you have filters which do not apply to Reserved Instances (for example, RightScale Server Templates), and visit the Reserved Instance details page, these will not be included in the filter set.
- You can export the entire view into CSV using the button on the top left hand side of the table.
-
Scheduled Reports and Budget Alert CSV updates - If you had selected to receive full instance details as a CSV attachment, until now, you would have received these in a ZIP file. Due to integration issues with ServiceNow and Office 365, all attachments will now come through as CSV, not ZIP.
Issues Resolved
-
Full instance details CSV rounding issue - We had some rounding issues within CSV files across Cloud Analytics. These have now been fixed, and all numbers will be rounded to 4 decimal places.
