New Features - Dashboard

  • A new optional column that displays the image associated with each instance has been added to the Instances and Servers page (Manage > Instances & Servers) and Deployment Show Servers page (Manage > Deployments > Deployment > Servers tab).  Users can leverage this image column to find groups of compute resources that need to be patched based on Operating System version.  Furthermore, identifying all instances running a particular operating systems helps our users manage proprietary OS and Package licenses while understanding what the license is being used for.

New Cloud Region for Azure

This release enables support for two regions in Australia -- Australia East (Sydney) and Australia South-East (Melbourne). All features supported currently in other Azure regions will also be available on these Australian regions

Changes in Behavior - API 1.5

  • The API 1.5 reference documentation has been updated to include the optional count parameter for the launch operation in the Instances entity.  Users can now programmatically spin up additional Server Array Instances in bulk to bring additional resources into service in anticipation of load.  This requested feature will enable users to reduce response time to launch additional resources as application usage grows.
