MultiCloud Marketplace Publications is where RightScale accounts with the 'publisher' role can view and manage RightScale components (ServerTemplates, RightScripts, MultiCloud Images and Macros) that they have published to the MultiCloud Marketplace.

The Deprecated column can be set to one of the following statuses:

  • Active - Currently active in the MultiCloud Marketplace. Valid for including in an Account Group. Sharing is a two step process. First, publish it to the MultiCloud Marketplace. Second, select which Account Groups should have access to the shared component.
  • Deprecated - The component is no longer visible to users. That is, if they are browsing the MultiCloud Marketplace (Design -> MultiCloud Marketplace) they will not see any deprecated components. However, any users that previously imported those components when they were active in the MultiCloud Marketplacewill be able to continue to use them even after they have been deprecated. To draw an analogy, deprecated components are not pulled off the shelf for those who have already taken them home for use.

To deprecate (or reactivate) a component, select the component's Name link, and then either the deprecate or reactivate action links.

The Account Group the component belongs to (or "- none -") along with a last updated date/time stamp is also displayed.
