The Monitoring tab lets you select any server from any of your deployments and display its monitoring data. By default, the "cpu-overview" graph is displayed which shows all the states (idle, wait, etc.) in a single graph using different colors. It's a useful graph for providing an overview of overall server activity. You'll notice that the graphs show the server's current (now) activity and are very small in size. To zoom in on a graph, select a different graph size (small or large). Note: Graphs will only appear on servers where monitoring is enabled. To enable monitoring, you will need to Set up collectd. To view other detailed graphs, you will need to navigate to the Monitoring tab of a particular server or deployment.
Cluster Monitoring provides a simple and efficient means to browse through monitoring data for Deployments consisting of many Servers. Customers with hundreds or even thousands of Servers in a Deployment will find this feature useful. You can specify a subset of Servers to Cluster Monitor in your Deployment based on the Server name, ServerTemplate name, or Tag. Select the Add Cluster Monitor action link in your Deployment's Monitoring tab to view Cluster Monitoring graph data in the Dashboard.
With your Cluster Monitor, you also have the option of viewing it as a Heat Map or Stacked Graph. You may add your Cluster Monitor Heat Map or Stacked Graph as a Widget to the Dashboard.Manage > Deployments > View Dashboard > Index > Monitoring tab
