Introduction

The ServerTemplate Developer Guide is designed to help provide general guidelines and best practices for developing custom ServerTemplates. This guide is intended for intermediate to advanced RightScale users who already have experience launching servers using ServerTemplates.

If you are not familiar with ServerTemplates, it's strongly recommended that you have a solid understanding of how to use ServerTemplates and complete some of the basic tutorials prior to using this guide.
