Delete a Route from a Route Table

Prerequisites

  • You need the 'security_manager' role in your RightScale account.
  • Currently, route tables can only be created in AWS VPCs.

Overview

Deleting a route will remove the network traffic path of to a specific destination. 

Steps

  1. Go to Manage > Networks > select network > Route Table and locate the route table you'd like to remove.
  2. Select your route table and click Actions and Delete.
  3. A confirmation will display asking if you want to delete the route. You cannot delete the default local route of the route table. 
  4. Click Delete.
