Overview

Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) is a secure and seamless bridge between an existing company IT infrastructure and the AWS cloud. Amazon VPC enables enterprises to connect their existing infrastructure to a set of isolated AWS compute resources via a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection, and to extend their existing management capabilities such as security services, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to include their AWS resources. Amazon VPC enables you to use your own isolated resources within the AWS cloud, and then connect those resources directly to your own datacenter using industry-standard encrypted IPsec VPN connections. See Amazon for more information.

  • New VPC - Create a new Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). You will be presented with a webform to provide a VPC Name, CIDR Block (to define your IP space) and a Description.
