Add an Instance to an AWS Elastic Load Balancer


To add an instance to an AWS Elastic Load Balancer.

Note: If you are using application ServerTemplates from an LTS or Infinity release (e.g. v12.11), please see the appropriate runbooks for detailed instructions instead of the steps outlined in this tutorial.


A configured AWS Elastic Load Balancer


Once you have created and configured your load balancer, you can add instances to it. 


  1. Navigate to Clouds > AWS Region > Load Balancing > LoadBalancerName.
  2. Click Add Instance.
  3. Select the instances that you want to add and click Save
  4. To remove an instance, click the check box for the instance and select Remove from the Actions drop down.
