Sign-up for Amazon S3

Objective

To sign-up for Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) so that you can create S3 buckets and upload files to those buckets either manually or programmatically with a script. 

Note: There is a new UI implementation of this feature. This older version will still be supported until it is replaced by the new S3 Browser. For more information, see S3 Browser (beta).

Prerequisites

• Access to log into the AWS Account that is associated with a RightScale account

Steps

1. Log into your AWS Account. (http://aws.amazon.com/)
2. Go to the S3 section (http://aws.amazon.com/s3/) and click the Sign-Up Now button.
