When the server time is out of sync by one minute or more, RightLink will fail to connect to our broker servers, which can cause issues with the server running scripts and also with decomissioning. Recipes will fail show "request failed" in the audit entries, automated scripts will also fail with the same audit entry.
When the time is out if sync on the server you will want to check the NTP input first "NTP Servers" and make sure there is a valid input present (i.e. "time.rightscale.com, ec2-us-east.time.rightscale.com, ec2-us-west.time.rightscale.com").
