Why are my server's old audit entries missing?

If you go to a previously launched server to view its audit entries, no audit entries display. You can see them for the current running server and for recently launched ones, but they appear to be missing for older launches of that server.


RightScale keeps a record of all audit entries for all servers that were launched.

A likely reason why you are not seeing audit entries is that the filter option that is selected by default is configured to only display the "last 14 days" of audit entries.


To resolve this, select a different time period from the "Displays" drop-down menu, matching the timeframe for the previously launched server instance.


You should now see all of the audit entries for that server.
