Sign up for Additional Cloud Services

Amazon offers several other Cloud Services.  In order to take advantage of these services inside the Dashboard, you must first sign-up for the service with Amazon and then validate these services inside the Dashboard.  You must have 'admin' role privileges on the RightScale account to add cloud services.

• Amazon Simple Queue Service - http://aws.amazon.com/sqs/  (Required for the Grid Edition - "RightGrid")
• Amazon CloudFront - http://aws.amazon.com/cloudfront/
• Amazon Relational Database Service - http://aws.amazon.com/rds/
• Amazon Virtual Private Cloud - http://aws.amazon.com/vpc/

After you have signed up for an additional cloud service, go to the RightScale Dashboard and validate these services (Manage -> Deployment -> View Dashboard > Overview tab).  Once the service has been validated, the new features will be unlocked inside the Dashboard.
